The IoT-joint venture “Sensor Network Services GmbH” (SENS) founded by Kapsch BusinessCom, Microtronics and ORS comm has appointed Ing. Andreas Novi, MBA as CEO.
Andreas Novi (43) will move from the ORS Group to Kapsch BusinessCom in mid-June and will be appointed CEO of Sensor Network Services GmbH. In addition, he will also be responsible for the companies financial agenda.
Vienna, 19 June 2018 – Sensor Network Services GmbH is a joint venture founded by Kapsch BusinessCom, Microtronics and ORS comm. The company offers tailor-made network services based on the LoRaWANTM wireless standard, enabling efficient and cost-effective data transmission solutions, especially for Internet of Things (IoT) applications and sensor data. Andreas Novi has been working on business models for IoT applications in the environmental, energy, transport, infrastructure and real estate sectors since 2016. Following the successful implementation of pilot projects with amongst others ÖBB Business Competence Center GmbH and Salzburg AG, the company became operational as an IoT service provider in February 2018.
Broadcast and telecom specialist
Andreas Novi is a trained mechanical engineer and has many years of experience in the broadcasting and telecom industry as a technical project manager as well as in strategic controlling and business development. After working for a Viennese civil engineering office and working for almost ten years at T-Mobile Austria, he most recently managed business development in the ORS Group.
