LoRaWAN™ sensors can run on one battery for up to 10 years without any maintenance. With the use of energy harvesting, an even longer life span can be achieved.
LoRaWAN™ enables bidirectional communication with the connected sensors. The sensors either communicate with the base station during a pre-set time window or can be connected permanently.
LoRaWAN ™ offers long range transmission and good building penetration. The range of a base station is approximately 20km.
Cost and energy-
The low data rate and the simple protocol enable low energy consumption, as well as long transmission ranges and low network operating costs.
The LoRaWAN™ standard is defined by the LoRa Alliance™ and is publicly available. There is a broad ecosystem of members and global reference examples of active networks.
The collaboration of three domestic companies with great expertise in their respective field ensures the quality and reliability of the services offered by SENS.
